By Syed Akbar
Kadapa, May 5: Health Minister and congress candidates for Kadapa lok sabha seat Dr DL Ravindra Reddy on Thursday described his rival and YSR Congress party nominee YS Jagan Mohan Reddy as a corrupt politician who has amassed huge wealth through illegal means.

He told this correspondent that people in Kadapa know Jagan Mohan Reddy as a proud and arrogant politician and they would teach him a fitting lesson at the hustings. He said that most of the voters are after supporting the Congress and he would win the election hands down. “Jagan Mohan Reddy who used to talk of huge victory margin is now worried about his victory. He is not sure of winning the by-poll and he has no image of his own,” Dr Ravindra Reddy pointed out.

The congress candidate who campaigned in Produtur and Jammalamadugu assembly segment on Thursday said 80 percent of Muslims, dalits and backward classes are with the Congress and they will vote for him. Many local leaders joined Jagan camp hoping that he would spend a part of his ill-gotten wealth but they are now are dissatisfied lot.

He said only the Congress would take up development and welfare schemes. “When Jagan is aspiring to become the Chief Minister by pulling down the government why is he contesting the lok sabha election. Jagan has been making contradictory statements and people have seen through his political game. Muslims have long ago disassociated from Jagan Mohan Reddy because of his secret links with the BJP leader Gali Janardhan Reddy.
